On Saturday we went to a funeral for Papa Dew (Jacks Grandpa Dewey Whatcott). He lived longer than the average man but when the love of his life died late last year he was heartbroken and didn't want to live without her. Now they have been reunited. He will be missed, but his legacy will be passed on through his jokes and poems that he told us over and over and over again. We won't forget them.
oh, papa dew! he lived longer than the average man because he had the body of an 18 year old remember. (or was that just his heart?) we will miss him and i'm sure that whenever the family gets together it won't be the same without the poems and jokes. perhaps jack can fill that void for us all! thanks for taking bowen. he loved papa dew!!
